Hot Beef Dip
Hot beef dip is a warm, creamy appetizer often served with chips, crackers, or bread. It typically features chopped dried beef or shredded beef mixed with a base of softened cream cheese and sour cream for richness. Additional ingredients might include various seasonings like garlic powder, onion flakes, and chopped green peppers to enhance the flavor.

Recipe:
8 oz. softened cream cheese; blend with 2 tablespoons of milk
6 oz, chopped dried beef
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons onion flakes
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup sour cream
Mix all ingredients and spoon into an 8-inch pie plate. Sprinkle top with 1/2 cup chopped pecans which have been heated in 2 tablespoons of butter, add 1/2 teaspoon salt. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve with crackers; like wheat thins.
**As you make this you'll find you can add more cheese and sour cream if you want it to go further**
